FileWay now supports concurrent user licenses!
FileWay can be licensed based on either "named user" or "concurrent users" accounts. In either case, the administrator gets to choose which user or group of users from the system’s Active Directory can access FileWay. Changes to AD groups selected will be carried through to FileWay automatically. The administrator can easily make changes to FileWay with few clicks of the mouse.
Concurrent user licensing is ideal for large environments with limited budgets and/or requirements for remote file access capabilities. The administrator can provide access to as many users as they like but only few (based on license size) will be able to connect at any given time. If either of these conditions changes in the future, customers can easily upgrade their license size.
"FileWay-Small Educational Server" is a special pricing program for small educational institutions. It uses the full version of FileWay, with the same features and installer, but is sold at a flat rate based on bundles of 250 users. This license option is cost effective for up to 2,000 users. When the user number climbs above 2000, the "price per seat" licensing option becomes more affordable.
